Dushan is an ideas and design think tank with over 16 years experience in advertsiging in Sri Lanka and Myanmmar.

Dushan started his advertising career as an intern at TBWA Sri Lanka when he was 19. His ECD wanted him to try out one month in the Creative department and one month in Brands. Dushan never tried out Brands, because he fitted in perfectly as a designer.

After starting  his advertising and design career at TBWA and creating some memorable campaigns for big corporate brands like AIA, Prima and Browns Group to name a few, he then moved to Phoenix Ogilvy and worked on creative and effective campaigns for Coca-Cola, SLT, Hemas, GSK, Perfetti Van Melle, and many more.

Dushan soon became one of Sri Lanka’s most sought after Art Directors as he won the Cannes Young Lions competition 3 consecutive years in a row, and twice he represented Sri Lanka at the Young Lions global creative show at Cannes, France. Dushan is probably the only Designer in the world to have won the Young Lions Creative Competition 3 consecutive times in a row. This gave him the opportunity to be trained by some of the global ad industries’ most-awarded creative, strategic, and design luminaries at the the Young Lions training programmes at Cannes from 2013 to 2015.

Dushan then moved to Yangon Myanmar and enjoyed a successful 6 year stint there where he was the Creative Director and Design Lead at the Mango Group.
