A Kid’s Point of View

Sri Lanka had just announced sweeping reforms over the use of children in food and beverage commercials. Anchor Pedia Pro a household name in Sri Lanka as a nutrition supplement for toddlers had made a practice of using young models in their commercials. So strong was this association that a curly haired child was referred to as a ‘Anchor Pedia Pro Kid’ for the characteristic curly hair on the talent used in previous campaigns.

 

Seeni was tasked with the challenge of navigating this landscape and creating a film that delivered on the same emotional cues as previous films, tugged at the heart strings of parents and delivered on the strong product values Anchor Pedia Pro was known for.

 

The film found its inspiration by deep diving into the life of a 4-year-old and understanding their unique challenges, which provided us a unique point of view.
