Alliance Finance Company is a financial company based in Colombo, Sri Lanka with a strong commitment to the environment. The task Seeni Colombo faced was to design a calendar that brought this commitment to life.

Working with the paper usually trashed or recycled, Seeni Colombo conceptualized a calendar that not only repurposed the paper but also converted it into art.

Origami.

Collaborating with a local origami artist Seeni Colombo crafted 6 animals found across Sri Lanka’s diverse environment and recreated scenes from the wild. Each scene highlighted a single species, spotlighting a specific habitat that Alliance Finance Company protects and preserves throughout Sri Lanka.
